A Great Day in the City

Yesterday I wrapped up my final day of a weeklong business trip in New York City. It was simply one of the best traveling days I've ever had.
Here are a few highlights from this day:
- Jogged from my hotel at 51st and 7th over to Park Avenue. Turned North and ran to 75th street, turned left and ran to Central Park East. Ran south again to 72nd street where I turned right and ran through Central Park. Exited the park at Columbus Circle, picked up Broadway and returned to the hotel. A great way to start the day.
- Had a great egg and bagle sandwich from Cosi
- Completed the third day of a very fun and productive photo shoot.
- Went to the taping of the Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway and 53rd. A very surreal moment in my life.
- Road the A train to Brooklyn and then walked back to Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade. Amazing view.
- Road the number 6 to Grand Central at 9pm. I thought the terminal would be quiet at that time, but no, it was as busy as ever. Grand Central is so beautiful it almost makes me cry.
- Took the number 1 to 79th street to visit some old Nashville friends at their apartment. Drank some beers at a corner pub then watched Letterman at 11:35. I never saw myself on camera. Damn.
- Returned to hotel. Very Tired. The end
