My New Year's resolution is to make more contributions to Jason Zada's WeeklyDV project. To that end, I've posted two recent DV short films: Scramble and Serendipity.
Both are now also available on this site under the My DVfilms heading.
WeeklyDV is a great idea from Jason that involves creating short DV films inspired by random keywords and ideas that Jason posts once a week. The shorts are listed on his site and viewers are encouraged to post comments and critiques.
For me, this is great as my biggest creative enemies are motivation and time. With WeeklyDV I'm inspired and encouraged by the weekly themes and I'm motivated by the fact that Jason urges participants to spend no more than four hours per project. The bottom line: make them short and sweet, be creative and (most of all) have fun.
