The fine folks who give the world Movable Type are set to introduce a new application to manage comment registration for blogs. While this site doesn't get a ton of comments, there are sites out there that do and many of those sites have been hit by comment spammers.
TypeKey will help elminate some if not most of that spam traffic by enabling bloggers to limit comment posting their sites to registered users only. Sounds like an interesting idea... here's an FAQ.
