I'm still looking at some third-party tools to help manage my iPod and my tunes and I've been spending some time looking around at ipodlounge reading reviews of add-on software and various utilities. I sync my iPod with my home computer, listen to it on the road and in the office, and also have an iTunes install on my workstation at work. So, I'm trying to figure the best way to have all my current tunes and albums purchased from ITMS available to listen to via my work PC.
Two tools I've been interested in lately are iPod Control and Anapod Explorer. Both seem pretty cool and iPod Control mentions my user case specifically. But Anapod Explorer seems like the most full-featured. It also boasts TrueStream integration meaning, if I gather correctly, that I can stream music directly from my iPod without having to offload songs onto my local drive.
UPDATE: Based on this tutorial on iPodLounge, it looks like PodUtil may be the utility I'm looking for.
