Just got out of my first MAX presentation where we got a glimpse behind-the-scenes of HGTVpro.com and their great use of Flash and Flash Media Server (formerly Flash Communication Server) to host video content in an interactive Flash format with syncronized ads and related content.
The developer from Scripps Network mentioned that even with the new Flash 8 Video Encoder capabilities, he's still using Captionate to add cue points to his media streams because of its ease in importing and exporting XML files.
I love to see great examples and best cases that showcase really how fluid a presentation can be when using Flash video, so much slicker than anything you can produce with WinMedia. Or at least it doesn't have the many headaches that seem to ship with Windows Media at no additional cost.
