During his Object-Orientated ActionScript session, Colin Moock mentioned that he is now using the new Flex Builder 2 alpha release as an Action Script editor. Basically, with FB2's SWF compiler, this will allow a developer to create SWF content without the need for using the Flash authoring tool.
As a sidebar, Colin mentioned that historically he's been using the SE|PY editor for working on external AS files.
