As I'm sure you are aware, Apple released a tool last week called Boot Camp. Scheduled to be a part of Leopard (the next iteration of Apple's super successful OS-X), Boot Camp is now being released as a beta and it essentially allows you to install a copy of Windows XP on your Intel-based Mac and lets you choose which OS you wish to boot into.
The general feeling is that this is another gentle push for users reluctant to switch from Windows to Mac. If there's a fear that you won't have access to certain applications, or if you already own many apps that you simply have to have to run your daily affairs, then Boot Camp will really be great.
After having a week or so for the dust to settle, there are several good follow ups and analysis of the implications of Boot Camp. One thing lacking is the need for concurrent visualization, that is... XP running right along side OS X and the ability for users to switch easily back-and-forth (ala Fast User Switching) and even copy+paste files and data. Many theorize this is certainly on the drawing board for Leopard.
