Here's another take from a few minutes that I spent exploring around the edge of a pond near our office. I'm pretty sure this is the same leaf as this shot.
You know, the one task I hadn't anticipated with this photoblog is coming up with titles for each image. It's really challenging to title an image in a way that is descriptive and somewhat artistic and meaningful without sounding cheesy and pretentious. Perhaps I should just ditch the titles and rely only on the date that I posted an image as its title.
On a related note, I tweaked the archive pages just a bit yesterday. I moved the image date down a line to leave the image title by itself. I thought this makes for a cleaner look. Also, on the bottom of each Monthly archive page, I added links to the previous and next month's pages. This should make browsing the Lightbox archives smoother.
Minor update: I just noticed that my Photoblogs.org listing now shows that two people have added my site as a favorite. Thanks to who ever you may be!
Love the fold of water at the edge of the leaf. And wow what colours you have captured.
Another nice shot, and great work with the colors.
And, you're welcome. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Amazing saturation and contrast.
love the blue! It makes a great background for that lone leaf.
Great picture, the color is perfect!
Wow! You're now #6 (with a bullet?) on the hot list at photoblogs.org! Not a big stunner, I guess. You are good.
I love the subject, reflection and the vivd colours in this shot, great shot!
