Tree Farm #3

Today we're continuing the trend of shots from the Christmas Tree Farm. It's been fun converting this files to black & white (with a slight cool blue tint) and experimenting with their presentation. Maybe in 2006 I will do themes each month on Lightbox and dedicate one month to "Black & White Only." Hmmmmm.

Nice light and the blurry effect. Christmas magic:-) Any special post-processing accept the B&W and blue tint? Or was that blurryness part of the picture.

Thanks and yes, the blur and color saturation was added in Photoshop. My goal lately has been trying to create a photo that combines "the captured moment" with some little touch of artistic manipulation.

I think the b&w/monotone was a great decision, it fits this photo very well. And I love the sunlight between the boards (especially with that canted door on the left)...very atmospheric. The headless man in the background, however, I find a bit distracting.
