September 20, 2006 | This 10-part series of webisodes fills the gap between seasons 2 and 3, much like Clone Wars did between episodes 2 and 3 of Star Wars. Season 3 of BSG starts October 6th and I've still got 14 episodes of season 2 to watch, thank you bit-torrent! (link) (#)

September 20, 2006 | Apparently, in our image focused world, we really are too concerned about looking fat in our family snapshots. Something about this just makes me cringe. (link) (#)
September 20, 2006 | Ever since Adobe and Macromedia came together, there has been a lot of talk about SWF and Acrobat being the two major pillars for delivering content. This seems to be the first wiff of that and i'm still trying to get my head around all the flavors of Acrobat now available. As for Breeze, I'm not sure yet if this is anything more of a rebranding effort and a way to group it as a product under the Acrobat name. I don't think any of the underlying technology has changed (yet) as Breeze is (was?) built on top of the FMS platform and uses the Flash player as its delivery method. Here's a Breeze preso... er, rather a Acrobat Connect Pro session with Peter Ryce that gives an overview. (Acrobat Connect comparison chart) (link) (#)
September 8, 2006 | I'm a big fan of Ellen's comedy and she's already done great work hosting the Grammys and the Emmys. (link) (#)
September 7, 2006 | These guys have been around since back in the day when we all first started messing around with Flash and they have always (and still do) rock the old school techy sci-fi interface designs. Ooo, and they have a blog too. One thing I really like about there design is that it's not only a really cool, deep and rich Flash experience, but they're also making sure you can deep link to the content in their site, like this portfolio page for instance. Click the Lauch Project button to see how nice they transition to their video player. (link) (#)

September 6, 2006 | We Captivate at work it's a nice tool, but not without its quirks. A lot of nice features in version 2 seem to maybe address those niches. (link) (#)
September 6, 2006 | Is it the long-rumored movie download service? (Probably) But what about the also rumored set-top box with TiVO like capabilities? Or a video enabled AirPort Express, with a remote of course? (link) (#)
September 1, 2006 | Includes just about every major computer language as far as I can see, from Actionscript to Assembler and XML to Yaac (whatever that one is). (link) (#)
