Photoshop product manager John Nack says this product is built in the spirit of Sound Edit, a simple tool that doesn't compete with their high-end Audition editing tool. October 23, 2006 | Still just rumors at this point, but it concerns me a bit as I'm currently running Win XP on my iMac under Parallels Desktop for Mac. Although, it's doubtful that I will actually be upgrading to Vista anytime soon. Microsoft has to release the darn thing first. (link) (#)
October 20, 2006 | For a while I was checking designinmotion.com on a daily basis to see new examples of motion graphics work. But then they stopped posting nice Quicktimes and basically just turned into a depot of press releases from design shops announcing completed projects. Motionographer.com has a great, really eclectic collection of work from around the world. (link) (#)

October 17, 2006 | This is a bit old news, and it was blogged all over the place, but I figured it still was worthy of noting here before I lost the link. These "universal man" type symbols and pictographs are just ripe for use in a short animation of some kind. (link) (#)
October 16, 2006 | Amazing. Typical work from Google... easy to use, quick and simple. At first glance seems fairly simple while giving me that same "access it from anywhere on any terminal" feel that I get from using a good webmail program. Like Gmail for instance. (link) (#)

October 4, 2006 | This was just announced today and I've not had a chance to play with this feature, but this will certainly make things interesting when designing applications to deliver video. One note, according to the docs, you need to add the AllowFullScreen param to your HTML wrapper for this to work. I've been using SWFobject a lot lately, and it's easy to add whatever param tags you need as shown here.
UPDATE: Some examples here. Also, to see this feature in action, be sure to download the FP 9 update from Labs, not from the standard Adobe download page. (link) (#)
