February 5, 2007 | The link is kind of buried on this page, (look for 'Download this File Now' right in the middle of the page) but it takes you to a PDF that has a lot of useful tips and ways to speed up your machine's performance when working in After Effects. Actually, some of the tricks (turn off all the cheesy Win XP UI animations, for instance) make everything faster, not just AE. (link) (#)
